The objectives of this League are:
- To provide instruction to all participants on the
basics of baseball (throwing, running, hitting, fielding, rules);
- To help the child develop skills essential to the game;
- To provide a pleasurable experience for the child;
- To prepare the child for advancement into the more structured baseball
and softball leagues of Brighton Baseball, all in a non-competitive fashion.

Inc.
- The activities shall be held on Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. and ending
at 10:30 a.m.

child and the more successful the program will be.
- There shall be no practices or sessions other than
those scheduled.
- Coaches should preserve the instructional / teaching and non-competitive
philosophy of this league. Team games may be played at the discretion of
the coaches. If either coach chooses not to participate in an inter-team

All games end in a tie.
- During inter-team games a batting tee may be used
if in the coaches judgment it would enhance a batterís skill.

the activities. Under no circumstances may a child act as a catcher or be
permitted in the area for any purpose whatsoever.
- The philosophy and rules of Brighton Baseball will preside:
a. Rookie League Rules, tips for practice sessions and while playing the
games should be read also.
b. Individual coaches may not change rules.
The League President must be consulted, who in turn, evaluates the merit
/ impact and confers with the Executive Committee.
